STABILIZING SECURITY ACROSS ADAMAWA STATE: THREE (3) APPREHENDED FOR KIDNAPPING ACTIVITIES.
The Adamawa State Command recovered one locally made pistol, one TVS motorcycle,food items,mats,ropes, others.
Further to the Command's reinvigorated special action plan on the ongoing fight against Kidnapping, Armed Robbery and other violent crimes across the state.
The command, on the 9/06/2022 acted upon intelligence and arrested three suspected kidnappers who among others are terorising Girei Daware, Pariya villages in Girei and Fufore local government areas.
The suspects.. .....
1. Auwal Mohammed 28years old,
2.Isah Umaru 40years old,
3.Rabiu Mohammed 19years, all members of the hunters association, attached to Tambajam and Tsigire Villages Of Fufore and Song local government areas are collaborators of the nefarious kidnapping activities going on in that axis.
Investigation so far reveals that the above suspects betrayed the trust repost in them by the community members of protecting lives and properties, went ahead supplying food items and other basics needs to their fellow kidnappers around that area.
The Commissioner of police, CP SK Akande while commending the gallantry performance of DPO Girei and his men for making it difficult for such criminals to escape arrest,equally directs other Divisional police officers, operational Commanders and their supervisory Area Commanders to do same and dominate the public space by denying the criminals opportunity to regroup anywhere within the state. The police Boss assured the government and good people of Adamawa state of the command unrelenting effort in combating crime in the state. He equally call on the general public to report any suspecious movement around their neighborhood to the nearest police station or via these emergency numbers...
