THERE WILL BE NO INTERSTATE MOVEMENT OF ARMED BANDITS- MILITARY HIGH COMMAND ASSURES NIGERIANS

The High Command of the Nigerian Military on Thursday, May 28, assured Nigerians that armed bandits would not migrate from restive areas where the armed forces and other security agencies are conducting various operations to other states. 


The Defence Headquarters in a tweet, said the Nigerian military have put "proactive measures" in place to handle such occurrence."

 "To address this specifically, all current operations are in synergy with the ongoing operations in the North West to tackle interstate movement of armed bandits and other criminals within the North West and North Central zones," the tweet read. 


The military also said that air assets had been deployed to cover Kaduna, Niger, Nasarawa and Kogi states.


There is an ongoing offensive operation against Boko Haram and armed bandits by the military and other security agents to obliterate the criminals who have wreaked havoc in the North.
