THREE DEAD, SEVEN INJURED IN NIGERIA SUICIDE BOMBING
Reports indicate that about three persons were killed while seven others sustained injuries in a suicide attack on Saturday, December 19, in Borno State, Nigeria.
The attack was carried out by a teenage girl in Konduga town, about 38 kilometres (24 miles) from Maiduguri, the State capital.
“The bomber snuck into the area and detonated her explosives. Three people are dead,” a local security official said.
Sources say the casualties would have been much higher if she managed to move further inside the crowded area.

No group has claimed responsibility for the attack but residents suspect it is attributed to the Boko Haram group, which has been responsible for multiple similar attacks in Nigeria.
Konduga and other neighbouring villages have been incessantly attacked by suicide bombers from the Boko Haram group.
About 30 persons were killed in a similar attack last year in Konduga when three bombers detonated their explosives outside a hall where football fans were watching a match on TV.
