TOTAL RESTRICTION OF MOVEMENT IN FCT ON SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 12 FOR THE FCT AREA COUNCIL ELECTIONS
There will be TOTAL Restriction of Movement across the entire FCT from 8am to 3pm on Saturday, February 12, 2022 during the FCT Area Council Elections as against earlier announced Free Movement.
Based on Credible Intelligence available to FCT Police Command, criminals are planning to explore the absence of restrictions of movement to disrupt the peaceful conduct of the Area Council Elections.
Accordingly, FCT Police has found it necessary to RESTRICT ALL MOVEMENTS from 8.00am to 3.00pm tomorrow, Saturday, February 12, 2022.
This is to enable eligible voters exercise their civic responsibility.
Only those on essential services would be allowed.
