TROOPS CAPTURE BANDITS, RESCUE KIDNAPPED VICTIMS IN KADUNA

Troops of Operation Thunder Strike have captured three bandits and rescued two kidnapped women. 


The women were abducted on their way to their farm in Gwagwada District in Chikun Council of Kaduna State.


Samuel Aruwan, the state's Commissioner of Internal Security and Home Affairs disclosed on Saturday that immediately the Troops got wind of the bandits' operations, the gallant officers tracked the criminals and engaged them in a fight which forced them to abandon their captives and flee.

The troops were able to apprehend three of the bandits while others escaped. 


Similarly, the Police in Kaduna rescued two persons kidnapped at the Kurmin Ison axis of the Kaduna-Kachia road in Kajuru local government area.

Report indicates that another kidnapped victim was able to escape on his own. 


Aruwan noted that vigorous security patrols will continue in general areas of Kaduna State to improve the security situation of the State. 


Recall that the army recently deployed 300 female soldiers to provide security and complement the existing security forces on the Kaduna-Abuja highway.
