INSURGENTS KILLED AS TROOPS FOIL ISWAP ATTACK ON MAIDUGURI-DAMATURU ROAD
Scores of ISWAP insurgents were killed as the Nigerian Army foiled an attack on the Maiduguri-Damaturu Road.
The attack was successfully repelled in the early hours of Monday around 1.25am after the insurgents attempted invading Maiduguri from Ngomari axis towards the Maiduguri-Damaturu Road.
Sources say the troops also foiled an ISWAP attack and killed several insurgents in Babbangida Town of Tarmuwa LGA in Yobe state.
