TWO CONSTRUCTION WORKERS KILLED AS BOKO HARAM ATTACKS COLLATION CENTRE IN YOBE STATE
No fewer than two persons have been killed and other three persons were kidnapped after the suspected Boko Haram invaded Kukareta village, Damaturu LGA, Yobe State.
The available information indicates that the terrorists invaded the village at about 03:00hrs on February 4 2024 and were shooting sporadically to scare the villagers before they headed to the house of the village head, killed two construction workers sent to the village by the Northeast Development Commission from Adamawa for the construction of Kukareta Market, they also kidnapped three grasshopper hunters.
However, the hoodlums raised the house of the traditional ruler and whisked away the hunter in a vigilante vehicle parked at the traditional ruler's house.
Meanwhile, the remains of the diseased have been evacuated by the police and have taken them to a specialist hospital in Damaturu.
