UNKNOWN GUNMEN KIDNAP TWO CATHOLIC PRIESTS IN DELTA STATE
Unknown gunmen at the wee hour of Saturday 29th April 2023 kidnapped two Catholic priests in the Agbarha-Otor community, Ughelli North LGA, Delta State.
The information available indicates that the priests identified as Rev, Fr. Raphael Ogigbah, parish priest of St. Francis Agbarha-Otor, Warri Diocese, and Rev Fr. Kunav Chochos, Schoenstartt Fathers, from Ibadan, Oyo State were returning from a visit to a nearby community before they were intercepted by the gang of kidnappers who whisked them away to an unknown destination.
Meanwhile, the kidnappers have not opened any channel of communication with the families or Catholic Church authorities.
