UPDATE: 4 Stadia and all NYSC Camps in Nigeria Converted to Isolation Centres.
The Federal Government has declared that four Stadia and all NYSC orientation Camps in Nigeria would be converted to Isolation Centres to help in the fight against the rampant COVID-19 pandemic.
The Honourable Minister for Youths and Sports, Sunday Dare revealed this today via his verified twitter handle. He wrote: ''Mr President has approved for the ministry of youths and sports to open and make available the stadiums in surulere Lagos, Ibadan, Abuja, and Kaduna as well as NYSC camps nationwide for use as Isolation Centres as they are needed, we are in touch with relevant authorities.''
As at 12pm today, the NCDC confirms that there are 65 cases of the COVID-19 pandemic in Nigeria.
