(VIDEO) WHEN INSURGENCY BIRTHS A SON - WEEKLY SECURITY DASHBOARD FOR THE PERIOD OCTOBER 17 - 22, 2021
Mr Kunde, a prominent son of the soil, was the perfect example of what most parents wanted their children to be. Towering high and mighty within the Nasarawa community in the Northern region of Nigeria, the Kunde twins: Amos and Juliana were loved by all who encountered them.
They were revered to the point that some families attempted luring them with gifts just to have their children associate and probably borrow a leaf from their exemplary lifestyles.
They literally rose from nothing to opulence. Mr Kunde’s wife neither spared the rod nor spoilt her children. She left no stone unturned in terms of character formation and moulding.
The family of four was a yardstick with which courtesy, modesty and morality were measured, within and outside the community.
However, this was before the seed of heightened insurgency and banditry was planted within the community.

On that fateful day, like a thief in the night, in one of the most brutal massacres ever witnessed in history, unknown gunmen suspected to be bandits gruesomely massacred humans, worse than could be done to sick animals in a slaughterhouse. Unfortunately, Mr and Mrs Kunde were among the victims.
The shock of their parents' untimely and painful death affected the young twins beyond words. They became more isolated from other members of the community. All they had were each other. They soon started an incestuous relationship.

However, trouble started when Amos located the “bone of his bone, flesh of his flesh and realized he could no longer continue the incestuous relationship with his twin sister.

The challenge now is that Juliana who has birthed the second child for Amos has refused to oblige Amos of the requested separation to enable him to marry.
She is unable to stomach the news or even an attempt of separation from Amos. She has threatened fire and brimstone and even suicide, if Amos should attempt marrying “another” wife, or leaving her.
What advice do you have for Juliana, Amos and the insurgency torn nation respectively?
