ZAMFARA DECLARES DUSK TO DAWN CURFEW IN JANGEBE TOWN
Governor Bello Muhammad Matawalle of Zamfara State has declared a dusk-to-dawn curfew in Jangebe town following the violence that ensued on Wednesday during the handover of 279 released abducted school children.
Mr Sulaiman Anka, the Commissioner for Information in the Zamfara, announced this in a statement on Wednesday saying the curfew was imposed to prevent any further breach of peace.

The commissioner also indefinitely shutdown market activities, saying strong evidence posits that some of the market activities aid and abet bandits in the town and neighbouring villages.
“Similarly, there is strong discovered evidence of market activities in the town that aid and abet bandits’ activities in the town and neighbouring communities.

“Consequently, all market activities in the town are hereby suspended until further notice,” Sulaiman Anka stated.
