NO EX GOVERNOR IN PDP CAN WALK THE STREETS WITHOUT BEING STONED - ADAMS OSHIOMOLE

Former Governor of Edo State, Adams Oshiomole, has said no former Governor in the People's Democratic Party (PDP) can walk freely on the streets without being stoned.

Oshiomole said this on Friday, September 18th, 2020, when he featured on a daily programme on Channels TV, Politics Today.

The former APC National Chairman revealed that he had walked freely on the streets of Benin without receiving the wrath of the people.

The former Governor challenged former Governors in the PDP to do the same in their respective States.

"If you play back PDP mega rally, their flag off and see the reaction on when their new member entered. People were like who is this?

“Now look at when I entered the University of Benin stadium. Look at the reaction of the ordinary people. You must have watched or I will show you the video. When I walked down the streets of Benin. How many of PDP former governors, whether in this state or in any other state, can walk freely without people stoning them?” Oshiomole said.

Recall that Godwin Obaseki took over the Governorship of Edo State from Adams Oshiomole in 2016.

On June 12th, 2020, the APC disqualified Obaseki from participating in its Primaries election.

Governor Obaseki, who defected to PDP, is set to face APC's Flag bearer, Osagie Ize-Iyamu in the gubernatorial election on Saturday, September 19th, 2020.
