#ENDSARS: LAI MOHAMMED SAYS FG WOULD SANCTION CNN FOR RELYING ON UNVERIFIED VIDEOS ON LEKKI SHOOTINGS
The Minister of Information and Culture, Lai Mohammed, on Thursday has described the investigative report on the Lekki shootings by CNN as one-dimensional and balance- lacking, adding that the International media organisation would be sanctioned.
In a press conference on the #endsars protest, Lai Mohammed insisted that the military fired blank bullets into the air and not at protesters at the Lekki Toll Plaza on October 20,2020.

He also validated a report published by the BBC, saying it was based more on facts.
Recall the CNN released an investigative report which confirmed that soldiers shot at peaceful unarmed protesters at the Lekki Toll Plaza.
Barely 24 hours after CNN released its report, Nigeria's information minister has insisted that the military fired blank bullets into the air and not at protesters.

The Minister also described the Lekki shooting of peaceful #EndSARS protesters as a 'bodyless and bloodless massacre' and a 'hoax massacre'.
