BREAKING: FIRST SET OF NIGERIAN EVACUEES ARRIVE LAGOS FROM UAE
The first set of Nigerians stuck abroad has been successfully evacuated as over 260 Nigerians arrived Lagos from Dubai on an Emirates Airline flight on Wednesday evening.
The flight earlier scheduled to arrive Lagos at 3 pm, made a U-turn midflight when a Nigerian woman fell into labour in the sky.
The emirate flight should be the first of other flights scheduled to evacuate Nigerians within the next few days.

The returning citizens are expected to undergo mandatory isolation in select hotels.
The Foreign Ministry said that it had made hotel reservations for lodging and quarantining of evacuees in Lagos and Abuja. It said that the hotels had been inspected by the Port Health Services, Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority, NCDC, and others.
