ONDO STATE DEPUTY GOVERNOR RESIGNS FROM PDP
Ondo State Deputy Governor, Agboola Ajayi, has resigned his membership from the People's Democratic Party (PDP).
His resignation comes barely three weeks after he lost the PDP primaries election to Eyitayo Jegede, on July 22nd, 2020.
The Deputy Governor's resignation also comes two months after joining the PDP.
Agboola was aiming to win the primaries and represent the party at the Gubernatorial election slated for October 10th, 2020.

Mr Allen Sowore, Senior Special Adviser to the Deputy Governor, made the announcement in a statement.
The statement reads; "The Deputy Governor appreciates the National Leadership and members of the party for their warm reception and acceptance in the short period he rejoined the party."
According to reports, the Deputy Governor is set to officially join Zenith Labour Party where he has been assured of the party's ticket to contest the election come October 10th.
