PRESIDENT BUHARI EXTENDS TENURE OF IGP MOHAMMED ADAMU BY THREE MONTHS

President Buhari has extended the tenure of Nigeria's Inspector General of Police (IGP), Mohammed Adamu, for the next three months.


This was announced to newsmen on Thursday by Minister of Police Affairs, Mohammad Dingyadi, at the presidential villa, Abuja.


Dingyadi said the extension was necessary to give room for the proper selection of a successor.
