BANDITS KILL NINE COMMUTERS, ABDUCT SEVERAL OTHERS ALONG KADUNA-KACHIA ROAD
Bandits on Tuesday killed nine commuters and abducted several persons along the Kaduna-Kachia road.
Part of those abducted include four members of the Anglican diocese of Kaduna
It was gathered that the attack occurred in the early hours of Tuesday near Kasuwan Magani, Kajuru Local Government Area of Kaduna State.
Sources say the assailants blocked the Kaduna-Kachia road, opened fire on all the vehicles plying that route including a church bus, killing nine persons on the spot, and also whisked several commuters away.
There is no official statement from Police Authorities confirming the number of abductees but multiple reports indicate that about 28 persons were kidnapped by the attackers.
Recall that on March 26, eight members of the Redeemed Christian Church of God who were on evangelism were abducted along this route.
