GUNMEN ABDUCT THREE WOMEN ALONG IBADAN-IJEBU ROAD

Gunmen suspected to be Kidnappers on Monday abducted three women at Onipe Community, on Ibadan-Ijebu Ode Road.


The kidnapped victims are identified as; Mrs Okeowo, Mrs Abosede Adebayo and Mrs Bola Ogunrinde.


Eons Intelligence gathered that the assailants came out from a bush around Onipe community and ambushed the victims around 8.20am on Monday morning. It was said that one of the abductees, Mrs Ogunrinde was driving a Toyota RAV-4, with registration number AGL 66 FY when their attackers ambushed them.


One of the kidnapped victims is a teacher from Itamerin comprehensive high school Oru Ijebu.


Security personnel including he Officer-in-Charge of Anti-Kidnapping Unit and his team, operatives of Counter Terrorism Unit (CTU), local hunters and vigilante group members were immediately deployed to the scene with the aim of rescuing the victims and arresting the kidnappers.
