22 DEAD, SEVERAL INJURED AS HOODLUMS ATTACK COMMUTERS ALONG JOS-ZARIA HIGHWAY
Eons Intelligence have gathered that hoodlums on Saturday attacked five 18-seater buses at the Gada-biyu area, along the Jos-Zaria highway, leaving not less than 22 commuters dead and several others injured.
Sources say the attack occurred around 10am.
Reports indicate that the victims were ambushed while travelling from Bauchi where they had gone to observe the Islamic New Year prayers.
It was gathered that the commuters scampered for safety when the assailants attacked them.
As of the time of filing this report, reports say 22 dead bodies are currently deposited at the Plateau State Specialist Hospital.
