NIGERIANS GROAN AS HEAVILY ARMED EFCC OPERATIVES ALLEGEDLY INVADE JOURNALIST'S HOME IN ABIA
Eons Intelligence have gathered that heavily armed EFCC operatives on Thursday invaded the home of a certain Norah Okafor, a journalist based in Abia State.
The victim, who made the disclosure via her official Facebook page, alleged that the operatives invaded her residence around 1.36am on Thursday midnight through the electric fence that was surrounding the compound.
“I was alerted by my brother that there were armed robbers at my gate. I didn’t border because I felt they couldn’t make their way in, due to the electric fence surrounding our compound. I was wrong. They came prepared.”
She claimed that a huge officer climbed the fence and cut the electric wire. Before she could dress up, the operatives hacked the front door and barged into the house.
She further said; “The next thing I realised was that about seven of them were already in my room, shouting ‘Lie down,’ ‘Face down,’ ‘Where is your phone?
“Seeing over 25 hefty men with different kinds of guns, I handed the phone to them with the car keys. By then, they had already taken my laptop. At this time, they had given my brother the beating of his life.
“They went out and unlocked all the cars. After searching through the phones and laptops, three of them came in and that was when we realised they were (the) EFCC.”
The Anti-Graft agency has been under fire in recent weeks following their alleged invasion into some hotels in the South-West, where they allegedly harass and arrest defenceless civilians.

Last week Friday, Eons Intelligence reported that several people were left injured as armed EFCC operatives stormed a hotel in Enugu, opening fire to disperse a youth conference, with over 40 guests feared arrested.
Also, last Monday, EFCC agents stormed Abeokuta, raiding at least three hotels and two nightclubs.
This week, Nigerians have taken to social media to express their displeasure and are now reporting a series of illegal invasions by operatives of the commission.
A Nigerian lady with the Twitter handle @_chiinenye took to her Twitter handle and said; ‘’Not EFCC raiding my compound rn. I was shivering because i thought it was robbers.’’
Another Twitter user with the handle @MalachyOdoi said; ‘’One day, EFCC officials will "see craze" in one of these their ungodly hour raids and they'll learn the hard way.i
Meanwhile, I enjoin Nigerians who have been their victims to sue them.
It is important that they do so.’’
