NCAA RELOCATES TO ABUJA

The Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority, NCAA, has successfully relocated its corporate headquarters to Abuja.

Sam Adurogboye, NCAA General Manager Public Relations, made the disclosure in a statement on Thursday, June 25, 2020.

Adurogboye said the relocation is in compliance with the Federal Government’s directive that all aviation agencies should relocate its headquarters to Abuja.

He stated that NCAA’s relocation was swift and seamless as top management staff including Directors and critical members of staff had moved to Abuja.

Speaking further, Adurogboye noted that the movement is important to enhance and facilitate the seamless interface on critical policy issues between the agency and the parent ministry, the ministry of aviation.

He added that it will bridge the gap between the agency and other critical organs of government in reaching decisions in real-time.

Recall, Eons Intelligence, on June 18, reported that the Federal Government had suspended planned resumption of flights.

The civil aviation authority, despite pressures coming from all quarters, said it will not approve the start any day until the agency confirms that all flight operators are ready to start in a safe, secure, organized and efficient manner.

Adurogboye noted that though the relocation exercise has its challenges especially on the staff the agency has been able to address it in such a way that the relocation is seamless.
