Sources are reporting mounting tension and panic in the embattled Central Africa Republic (CAR) capital Bangui after about 9000 men from a new coalition of armed rebel groups named by sources as ‘la coalition 3R, Antibalaka Mokom, Antibalaka Ngaïsona, MPC, FPRC de Bahar, RJSayo are sweeping across key towns in the outskirts like Yaloke and Bossemtele - en route to Bangui.

The rebel coalition whom sources say is bent on a long match to reach the Capital Bangui are targeting the seat of the President and have been clashing along their voyage with mixed units of government forces of CAR - French acronym - #FACA and UN mission forces in- MINUSCA.

The massive battalion of armed rebels riding on mounted gun-trucks are believed to be under the covert command and control of the former President of CAR - François Bozize and deposed former House of Parliament leader Meckassoua Abdul Karim - whom sources say is the architect of this new rebellion.

The immediate cause of the fierce fighting is unclear, but CAR faces a long history of conflict between Seleka and Anti-Balaka rebels.

Government forces have been reinforced and the battle continues.
