US CONGRESSMAN TESTS POSITIVE FOR COVID-19 THREE WEEKS AFTER RECEIVING FIRST DOSE OF PFIZER VACCINE
US Congressman, Kevin Brady, has tested positive for Coronavirus three weeks after receiving his first dose of the vaccine developed by Pfizer.
Brady, a Republican member of the U.S, announced on Wednesday that he contracted the virus shortly before he was due to receive the second dose of the jab.

“Tonite the Office of House Physician informed me that I’ve tested positive for COVID-19 & am quarantined.
“As recommended, I received a first dose of the Pfizer vaccine Dec. 18 & also recently tested negative for Covid on New Years Day,” Brady tweeted.
It would be recalled that on November 9, Pfizer announced that its vaccine was 90% effective against the virus.
Several other countries have received their first batch of the jab amid growing concerns of a new COVID-19 viral strain.
As of January 6, 2021, the US has recorded 20,732,404 cases of COVID-19 and 352,464 fatalities.
