IRATE YOUTHS KILL 1, SET ABLAZE 64 HOUSES OVER CORONATION OF VILLAGE HEAD IN BAUCHI
No fewer than 64 houses have been set ablaze in a conflict that ensued between the youths of Sang Village and Irate Village on 15th April 2023 at Bogoro LGA Bauchi State.
The information available indicates that Sang village had a coronation of the Hamlet Head of Sang which
some irate youth with different functions protested against it.

During the protest, an attack was launched that resulted in bashing innocent citizens and vandalizing properties worth millions of Naira, also took the life of a 70-year-old man identified as Apollos Danlami while Naemiya Bature, 65 years, and some other people were injured in the fracas.
Meanwhile, the Bauchi State Police Command has swiftly deployed its operatives comprising Tactical teams,(RRS)Rapid Response Squad, and Operation Restore Peace following the receipt of the attack to restore peace, investigate the mobs and make a necessary arrest on the perpetrators.
