AMOTEKUN PARADE SECONDARY SCHOOL SISTERS OVER FAKE KIDNAP
The operatives of Ondo State Security Network Agency, known as Amotekun Corps, on 17th July 2023 paraded a JSS1 and JSS3 pupils and 28 others over the alleged involvement in various crimes in some parts of the state.
The suspected secondary school pupils, 13 and 15 years old who were in JSS1 and JSS3 respectively allegedly faked their kidnap and demanded N100,000 ransom from their mother.
Conversely, the pupils hid somewhere at Oka-Akoko, Akoko South-West LGA in the state after they left their grandma's house on a faithful morning and called their mother, pretending to be kidnappers who abducted them.
Unfortunately, they called the monarch of the town instead of their mother and threatened to kill their victims if the ransom is not paid within 24hrs.
Thereupon, the operatives of Amotekun corps with the synergy of the operatives of the Department of State Services tracked the telephone line the girls used and found them where they were hidden.
