RIVERS STATE GOVERNMENT BANS ALL PROTESTS ACROSS THE STATE
The Rivers State Government has banned all forms of protests across the State.
This development means all proposed protests under #EndSARS Campaign are hereby prohibited
The Government, in a statement released by Paulinus Insirim, the State's Commissioner for Information and Communication, said it took the decision because the Inspector General of Police (IGP), Mohammed Adamu, had already scrapped the Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS).
It urged all parents and guardians to ensure their wards or children do not violate this order.
The State Government also added that it has directed all Law enforcement agencies to ensure that the ban is enforced and that violators are brought to book.
