ARMED BANDITS ABDUCT OVER 300 SCHOOLGIRLS IN ZAMFARA
Armed bandits on Friday invaded a female Government Secondary in Jangebe, Zamfara state, abducting over 300 students.
Eons Intelligence gathered bandits invaded the female boarding school identified as Government Girl’s Secondary School located within the Talata-Mafara local government area at about 1 am.
Hon. Suleiman Tunau Anka, Zamfara state commissioner for information has confirmed the abduction of the girls but said he is awaiting a police report to ascertain the number of kidnapped students.

Recall that a similar incident occurred in December 2020 when bandits abducted over 300 schoolboys from their dormitories in Kankara, Katsina State.
Nine days ago, bandits abducted 27 students and 15 workers of Government Science College, Kagara in Niger State and the criminals have threatened to starve the captives to death if the ransom they are demanding is not paid on time.
