BOKO HARAM ATTACK BORNO COMMUNITY, KILLS SIX

Reports indicate that Boko Haram insurgents on Saturday launched an attack on Askira Community, Askira/Uba Local Government Area of Borno State killing six civilians in the process.


The terrorists invaded the community in about eleven gun trucks and shot sporadically forcing residents to flee the town.



It was learnt that there was a fierce battle between the terrorists and troops backed by the Nigerian Air Force which led to the death of two Boko Haram fighters.





However, troops recovered three gun trucks, three motorcycles, and several ammunition from the terrorists.



This comes less than one week when Boko Haram attacked commuters in an IED onslaught on the Ngala-Borno road.


Also, on December 6, Boko Haram launched an attack on an IDP camp in Ngala, Borno State, and killed three persons in the process.
