MOHBAD CASE: SAM LARRY AND NAIRA MARLEY RELEASED ON BAIL
Prominent figures in the music industry, Sam Larry and Naira Marley, have been granted bail with the stipulation that each must provide three sureties, each posting a substantial sum of 20 million naira.
Among the conditions of their bail, the court has mandated that they surrender their international passports and regularly appear at the State Criminal Investigation Department (CID).
In a noteworthy caution, the presiding magistrate in the case emphatically warned against any attempts to directly contact her, underscoring that such actions would be documented and could potentially be disclosed during open court proceedings.
It is pertinent to recall that these individuals were apprehended upon their return to Nigeria due to their alleged involvement in the unfortunate demise of Mohbad. Various social media videos depicted Sam Larry engaging in physical altercations with the late Mohbad, while other videos portrayed individuals believed to be acting under the instructions of Naira Marley involved in an altercation with the deceased rapper.
