UPDATE: POLICE NAB SUSPECTED CULTISTS IN OGUN
The Ogun State Police Command said it has arrested some members of the Eiye and Black Axe Confraternity at different parts of Ijebu Ode Area of Ogun State, following the clash between the rival cults on Saturday.
Eonsintelligence, in its publication on Saturday, May 23, reported a clash that ensued between some rival groups of cultists at Ijebu Ode that led to the death of five cultists.
As at the time of the report, the cause of the clash was not ascertained.

After a series of investigations carried out by the Ogun State Police Command, some of the suspects were arrested.
According to a source, the suspects confessed that the cause of the clash was supremacy battle between the Eiye and Black Axe Confraternities.
The source added that some of those killed had parts of their bodies hacked off and taken away as trophies by the killers.
The arrest was said to have been carried out by the Divisional Police Officer of Igbeba, CSP Musiliu Duga, following quality Human Intelligence revealing that some members of the Confraternities were at Adefisan, Imoru and Iwesi (off Ibadan Garage) among others.
The Ogun State Police Command commended members of the public for quality information given which led to the arrest of the suspects.
