#ENDSARS: SPONSORED ARMED HOODLUMS IN SUV ATTACK PROTESTERS AT CBN HEADQUARTERS, ABUJA (VIDEO)
Sponsored armed hoodlums in SUV Jeeps have attacked Protesters stationed at the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) headquarters in Abuja, in the early hours of Monday, October 19, 2020.
This is the second time thugs would be attacking protesters in Abuja within the space of one week.
Recall that on October 14, armed hoodlums allegedly paid to hijack the ongoing peaceful #ENDSARS protests in Abuja got more than they bargained for as the youths fought back and got them overpowered.
Multiple sources say the protesters were woken up by sounds of gunshots with the police watching as they were attacked.
It was gathered that the thugs, who continually shot at them, set the protesters' vehicles ablaze.
No casualty was recorded except the DJ’s truck and equipment that was burnt.
This development comes days after the Federal Capital Territory (FCTA) Security Committee banned #EndSARS protests in Abuja for violation of COVID-19 protocols.

On Friday, October 16, the peaceful protesters defied the order, and blocked the Abuja city gate and Nnamdi Azikwe International Airport despite the ban on their activities by the Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA).
