EXCLUSIVE: NO ISLAMIYYA STUDENT KIDNAPPED IN KATSINA- FULL STORY

Eons Intelligence has reliably gathered that no Islamiyya school child was kidnapped on Saturday as reported in news media across the country.

According to investigations carried out by Eons Intelligence, about 20 bandits on foot attacked a village in Funtua where they kidnapped 4 children and rustled about 12 cows. When security officers got wind of the bandit’s activity, the men of Operation Sharon Daji in collaboration with the vigilante group laid an ambush for the criminals in Mahuta, in Dandume local government area.

However, shortly before the bandits arrived, students of an Islamic school (Islamiyya) had just finished Molud celebrations and were having a jubilatory procession which involved drummings, singing and dancing. Some of the Islamiyya students were on tricycles and motorcycles.

Eight of the Islamiyya children who broke away from the procession to head home ran into the bandits. Immediately the children saw torchlights and cows, they knew they were bandits and fled.

Then security operatives engaged the criminals immediately.

On citing the military, the bandits abandoned the four kidnapped children as well as the rustled cows and fled into the bush.

The sounds of exchange of gunfire between the Nigerian security forces and the bandits sent other Islamiyya children who were on their way home scampering for safety.

On Saturday, security forces recovered the earlier kidnapped children from a village around Funtua who were abandoned by the bandit while fleeing the gunfire from the security forces.
