FIVE POLICEMEN ARRESTED FOR KILLING TEENAGER IN PLATEAU
The operatives of Plateau State Police Command arrested five of its personnel involved in the alleged shooting of a 17-year-old boy, Ibuchim Ofezie, at Terminus Market, Jos, Plateau State.
The information available indicates that the five personnel attached to C Division drove to the Terminus market to track down the commercial motorcyclists operating illegally. The officers chase the motorcyclists, followed by shootings which ensued in the killing of Ofezie through a stray bullet.

Meanwhile, the commissioner of police in the state command has condemned such irrational activities while the five personnel in the patrol team have been arrested and are currently undergoing investigations at the Homicide Section of the Criminal Investigation Department (SCID) of the state command.
