GUNMEN KIDNAP JOURNALIST IN NASARAWA
Gunmen on Tuesday, January 12 kidnapped Salisu Maki, a journalist with Nasarawa Broadcasting Service.
The incident occurred at around 9.30 am along Akurba road in Lafia LGA, the state capital.
Sources say the assailants, numbering about nine, infiltrated his house and whisked the victim to an unknown destination.

According to a resident, “When the man arrived his house after closing from work, the gunmen stormed the compound and started shooting and took him away”.
While confirming the incident, the Police Public Relations Officer in Nasarawa State said the CP has deployed a team of officers to rescue the victim.
