GUNMEN KILL 11 RESIDENTS IN KANKARA LGA OF KATSINA STATE
Gunmen on Thursday stormed Dan-Kumeji village in Kankara Local Government Area of Katsina State, killing not less than 11 residents.
The assailants stormed the community around 11.30pm on Thursday night and shot sporadically at residents in the village. Eleven locals lost their lives while six others sustained gunshot injuries.
Eons Intelligence gathered that helpless residents in the village scampered for safety upon the assailants’ invasion not knowing that the criminals had strategically positioned themselves in the village for an ambush.
They appeared suddenly from their positions and opened fire on those trying to escape from the attack.
The six injured victims are currently receiving medicare in a hospital.
