ISWAP KILLS TWO POLICEMEN, ONE SOLDIER IN BORNO COMMUNITY

ISWAP fighters have killed two mobile policemen and a soldier in Malam Fatori community, Abadam LGA of Borno.

This is coming barely 24 hours after ISWAP fighters in military uniforms kidnapped five civilians at Tamsukau along the Damaturu-Maiduguri road.

Sources disclose that the insurgents stormed the community in several gun trucks mounted with Anti Aircraft guns and motorcycles. The combined efforts of security personnel swiftly engaged and repelled the insurgents' attack.

However, two mobile policemen and one soldier were killed during the gun battle with the insurgents which lasted for about one hour.

The deceased were members of a joint security team conducting clearance operations in preparation for the resettlement of Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs).

Recall that on October 30, Eons Intelligence reported that ISWAP insurgents invaded Damboa town on eight gun trucks, killing two policemen.

Meanwhile, troops foiled an ISWAP attack on Molai town, Maiduguri, Borno State, and recovered several weapons and ammunition.
