NIGERIAN ARMY RAID BANDITS HIDEOUT IN ZAMFARA, RECOVER AMMUNITION
The Nigerian Army on Thursday December 24 raided a bandit hideout in Zamfara and also recovered several ammunition.
The operation was conducted successfully by Operation Hadarin Daji after credible intelligence.
In a statement by the Coordinator of the defense media operations, Maj. General John Enenche, the operation was conducted in Magami general area of Zamfara State. Two bandits identified as Usman Ahmed and Mohammed Adamu voluntarily surrendered to the troops.
It was gathered that the surrendered bandits took troops to a bush where they had buried some of their weapons and submitted the weapons.
Consequently, troops recovered 2 AK-47 rifles, 45 rounds of 7.62mm special ammunition, one cutlass and one knife.
