NINE KILLED AS SUSPECTED HERDSMEN ATTACK MAKURDI LGA OF BENUE STATE
Eons Intelligence have gathered that suspected herdsmen attacked Agan council ward, Makurdi LGA of Benue State on Saturday morning, killing nine persons including the kindred head of Tse Ancha.
This comes barely three weeks after a similar incident occurred at Abagana, a community housing the largest IDP camp in the State.
The attack occurred around 4am when residents of the community were asleep.
The Chairman of Makurdi Local Government Council, Mister Anthony Dyegeh, visited the scene of the incident and directed that the corpses and those injured be taken to the hospital.
The Chairman extended Governor Samuel Ortom’s condolences to the people and prayed for peace to return to the State.
