POLICE ARREST 124 SUSPECTS DURING RAIDS IN ABUJA
No fewer than 124 suspects have been arrested at different locations in a raid conducted by the Federal Capital Territory Police Command across the territory in Abuja.
The raids were carried out in the day and night between Sunday through Tuesday in suspicious places and uncompleted buildings in Kabusa, Karshi Nyanya, Dutse Alhaji, Mpape, Iddo, and Utako areas of the FCT among others resulted in the arrest of suspects who were involved in committing different crimes.
This was a renewed effort of the police to flush out criminals from the territory to ensure that FCT is relatively peaceful for lawful citizens.
Dried leaves suspected to be Indian hemp were recovered from the suspects.
Meanwhile, the suspects are currently under screening and interrogation at various divisions after which they will be charged to court.
