POLICE ARREST DRUGS TRAFFICKERS IN POSSESSION OF 125 ROUNDS OF LIVE AMMUNITION
Operatives of the Anti-kidnapping Unit of Police Command in Bayelsa have arrested 2 suspected drug traffickers in possession of 125 rounds of live ammunition.
The suspects, Solomon Ibe, 43, and Chris Amuka, 23, were arrested at Ovom Waterside, Yenagoa while trying to ferry a bag of weed suspected to be Indian hemp to the Southern Ijaw Local Government Area.

The police also recovered 125 rounds of live ammunition for the suspects.
The Police Public Relations Officer, SP Asinim Butswat, who disclosed this in a statement on Tuesday, said investigations have commenced and the suspects have begun assisting the police with relevant information.
