POLICE ARREST MAN FOR DEFILING 9-MONTH-OLD INFANT IN LAGOS.
The operatives of Lagos State Police Command have arrested a 27-year-old suspect who allegedly had canal knowledge with a 9-month-old infant.
The information available indicates that the suspect spied and invaded the apartment where the baby was laid, the moment the baby's mother went to purchase something outside the compound, defiled her and immediately took off the scene.

At about 2200hrs on Monday 27th March 2023, the Police Division issued the medical form to enable the mother of the baby, aged 16 years, to take the child to the hospital for urgent medical attention.
However, the suspect was arrested at his hideout following intelligence work by the detectives from Ijora Badia Division.
The suspect confessed to the crime and made a statement while the complainant also made statements.
Meanwhile, the case file and suspect will be transferred to the Gender Section of the state command.
