POLICE ARREST SECURITY GUARD IN CONNECTION WITH KATSINA RELIGIOUS LEADER’S KILLING
The Katsina State Police Command has arrested two people including the security guard at the church in Malunfashi local government area of the state for participation in the bandits’ attack which led to the death of Rev. Fr. Alphonsus Bello and kidnapping of two others.
According to the Katsina State Police Public Relations Officer, SP Gambo Isah, a preliminary investigation shows that the security man assisted the hoodlums in gaining access to the priest, having directed them to scale the fence of a hotel behind the church premises”.
Recall, the attack on St. Vincent Ferrer Catholic Church Malunfashi, Katsina state, indicates that bandits invaded the church on Thursday night and abducted Rev. Fr. Joe Keke, while the dead body of Rev. Fr. Alphonsus Bello, was discovered in a nearby bush on Friday morning.
