POLICE KILL FOUR SUSPECTS RESPONSIBLE FOR THE DEATH OF HAITI’S PRESIDENT, ARREST TWO

Reports indicate that security operatives on Wednesday night shot dead four suspects responsible for the assassination of President Jovenel Moise of Haiti.

Recall that Eons Intelligence reported on Wednesday that a group of assailants invaded the President's private chambers on Wednesday morning at 1am, killed him, and also inflicted severe injuries on the First Lady.

In a statement by Leon Charles, Police Chief, the suspected assassins were killed by security operatives in a gun duel while two others were arrested.

The First Lady, Martine Moïse, is currently fighting for her life after being shot multiple times in the attack.

The 47-year-old has since been flown to Florida and taken to Baptist Hospital in Miami for treatment, where she is in a stable but critical condition.

This incident comes on the heels of agitations in the Caribbean Nation demanding the resignation of President Moise.

Thousands of protesters and demonstrators have questioned the President’s position in office as his five-year term should have ended on February 7, 2021
