POLICE NAB 3 SUSPECTED KIDNAPPERS IN OSUN STATE
Operatives of the Osun State Police Command have arrested three suspected kidnappers allegedly terrorizing residents of the state. They were arrested by operatives of the command’s anti-kidnapping squad who stormed their hideout, engage the criminals in a gun duel, and arrested the three suspects while others escaped.
The information available indicates that some Fulani herdsmen in the state reported the activities of the kidnappers to the police and demanded action.

The policemen tracked the kidnappers to a village in Oyo State and stormed their hideout which foiled an attempt by the suspects to kidnap another Fulani herder, Idris Aliu.
The suspects; Seriki Fulani in Afijio Local Government Area of Oyo State, Hussain Abdullah, and two Fulani herdsmen, Barri Galadima and Muhammadu Abdullahi all confessed to their heinous acts within the state metropolis. They would be charged in court after a police investigation.
