POLICE NEUTRALIZE 3 KIDNAPPERS IN KATSINA STATE
About three members of suspected armed robbers and kidnappers have been neutralized by the operatives of Katsina State Police Command along the Dutsinma-Kankara highway, Katsina State.
The information available indicates that the suspected robbery gang on the 10th December 2023 sabotaged the highway, wielding dangerous weapons like AK-47 and were in an attempt to kidnap unsuspecting civilians.
The credible information reaching the police prompted their swift response with the synergy of the vigilante group members to the scene. Upon sighting the security forces, the armed robbers opened fire at them while the security forces responded to their welcome message which resulted in neutralizing three of the gang while others fled.
However, one of the vigilante members sustained a gunshot in his right hand, and he is currently receiving and responding to medical treatment.
Meanwhile, police are on top of their exercise to arrest the fleeing members of the gang.
