POLICE NEUTRALIZE KIDNAPPERS IN OGUN STATE
The operatives of the Ogun State Police Command and the synergy of the local hunter neutralized two gunmen suspected to be kidnappers in Fere village, Owode-Egba, Obafemi Owode LGA, Ogun State.
The information available indicates that the kidnappers who were six in number emerged from the bush and forcefully halted one Mr. Busari Azeez's car at gunpoint.
Consequently, the kidnappers opened his car door with the intent to whisk him away, but he bravely put the car to reverse at high speed to flee the scene. And at a certain point, he jumped out of the car and ran into the bush for his safety.
Upon the report received by detectives of the Owode-Egba Division, and the local hunters, they combed the bush for hours and eventually engaged the kidnappers in a gun duel which resulted in neutralizing two of the kidnappers.
Meanwhile, the operatives are on top gear to arrest the fleeing members of the gang.
