POLICE OPERATIVES FOIL BANDITS ATTACK, RESCUE ONE IN KADUNA KIDNAP ATTEMPT
The Operatives of Kaduna State Police Command have repelled bandits from abducting a citizen of the state and also neutralised one of the bandit members.
Information available indicates that the operatives attached to Rigachikun Division and local security stakeholders
came to the rescue of the innocent citizen (Umar Ibrahim) at Amana Maimadachi village, following the distressed alert that was received on Saturday, 14th January 2023, at about 0100hours.
Sequel to the swift response by the police operatives, one the armed bandits clad in military camouflage uniform was neutralized, while others were severely injured by bullets and fled into the bush.
Items confiscated from the neutralized bandit include; a serviceable AK-47 rifle loaded with four (4) rounds of live ammunition.
