POLICE REPEL TERRORISTS' INVASION IN SOKOTO STATE COMMUNITY
The operatives of Sokoto State Police Command on 14th May 2023 repelled an invasion of the suspected terrorists' attack on residents of Giremshi community, Sokoto State.
The information available indicates that the suspected terrorists were trying to invade the community of Sokoto metropolis at about 0100hrs but the security operatives engaged them in a gun duel that lasted till 0400hrs.
Meanwhile, no life was lost in the gun battle as the security operatives thwarted the terrorists' plans over the residents of the community.
