POLICE RESCUE TEENAGERS FROM FORCED PROSTITUTION
A total number of three teenagers have been rescued from prostitution
by the operatives of Lagos State Police command on January 8, 2023, at about 0600hrs at the Itamaga area of Ikorodu, Lagos State.
Information available indicates that the operatives noticed their pessimistic movements after they had fled from the captivity of their mistress who conveyed them from Akwa Ibom to Lagos as camouflage for employment.
Meanwhile, the victims were identified as Saviour 14yrs, Bright 13yrs, and Deborah 12yrs. (surnames withheld).
However, contact has been established with the victims’ families while they were transferred to the Gender Unit of the Lagos State Command for additional investigation.
