TROOPS ARREST IPOB COMMANDER RESPONSIBLE FOR AHMED GULAK’S MURDER
Troops of the Nigerian Army have arrested the Deputy Commander of the Indigenous People of Biafra, (IPOB) Nwagwu Chiwendu who is also responsible for the killing of a Northern politician Ahmed Gulak.
The arrested IPOB’s commander was currently the second in command and was also in charge of training its subordinate in weapon handling.
Information available indicates that the notorious gang leader left the Nigerian Army, and joined ESN on January 21.
Chiwendu was arrested yesterday during the burial of his father at Mbaise.
During interrogation, he confessed to killing Gulak and confirmed that his gang members were responsible for kidnapping the 2 expatriates along Owerri-Okigwe Road and killing 2 Police Inspectors escorting them.
